Spoon batter into paper lined muffin cups. If you want blackberries on top,
add a few extra to each muffin cup. Sprinkle with coarse sugar.
Place in a 375 degrees F oven for 20-22 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the middle comes out clean.
Remove from the baking pan immediately and place on a wire rack.

While the muffins are baking, make the lemon glaze.
In a small bowl mix together powdered sugar, lemon juice and lemon zest.
Pour all over the tops of cooled muffins. The glaze will meld into the muffin and you can add more coarse sugar if you choose.

The best part about lazy Sundays..
Crocheting & Taking the time to write.
I'm realizing year after year, that I'm becoming more and more like my grandmother,
and I'm absolutely loving it.

Birthday Tea
Birthday Dress.
Woke up to a few lovely gifts. :)
Made Blueberry Muffins with the sisters that morning..
with some sweet raspberry tea.
The sky was like cotton candy. Oh so, pretty.
And the ground, was covered in frost.
Another reason, why I'm absolutely in love with December.
It's such a magical month.
Went shopping at one of my favorite antique stores in Lebanon.
Found some goodies.
Also found this angel, which someday I will go back and bring it home with me.
It's just perfect.
I'm pretty sure I've seen this one in my dreams, as a little girl.
The details just looked too familiar.
Another reason, why I have to have it.
It was meant for me.
I just know it.
After shopping, my mother & I had lunch at Scarlett's Garden Tea Room.
Tearooms just make you feel like a princess, don't they?
Such a perfect way, to enjoy your Birthday.
:)
